Dropseed Farm is run by Matt Ardaiolo and Robin Freise who share a deep respect for the natural history of the Front Range and the agricultural communities that have long nourished it. They use low-till, micro-agricultural practices that prioritize soil health and biodiversity, which complements the shortgrass prairie ecosystem on their land, leased by PVCF at the City of Fort Collins Flores del Sol Natural Area.
Robin comes from a multi-generational farming family in the Midwest and has been working with soil since childhood. Over the past decade, she has focused her skills on designing and maintaining regionally adapted gardens that prioritize water conservation and support native insects and wildlife. Matt began his farming journey in 2020 and is passionate about building productive systems, problem-solving at every scale, and guiding crops from seed to harvest with care, education, and intention.

West Family Farm, run by Sarah and Andrew West, had been operating as a cattle breeding enterprise for several years, but recently switched to raising sheep due to challenges in the cattle market. This was not a new venture for Sarah, however, who grew up raising sheep. The Wests are raising approximately 130 feeder sheep using rotational grazing methods that promote pasture health.

Sarah and Andrew are dedicated to ecological health, innovative farming practices, and entrepreneurialism at Pryor Farms, understanding that it is a privilege to be a part of the food system, to care for the land, and to responsibly raise livestock. West Family Farm utilizes 85 acres at Pryor Farm, land leased by PVCF at the City of Fort Collins Cathy Fromme Natural Area.
